Jennifer Tilly

Jennifer Tilly has won an Academy Award for her work as a Canadian-American and an expert poker player. Tilly was was raised in Los Angeles in the United USA. Her debut came as an actor in 1983 in the television series "Oh Madeline" on which she was in a small role. In 1984, Tilly had her debut in the film "No Small Affair." Since since then, she's never stopped and has appeared in a variety of projects throughout the year. Her debut was a great start to her acting career. In the initial days of her career, she was part of popular series such as 'Hillstreet Blues and 'Cheers as well as "Frasier.' Although she mostly had minor roles, it was much more than what a beginner actor might expect. Her long-awaited breakthrough came in the Woody Allen film 'Bullets Over Broadway'. The film earned her an award nomination for an 'Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.' Her next appearance was in a couple of international films like 'Bound' or "Liar Liar.
