Sharp is an Rochester native who studied clarinet at the Hochstein School of Music. Sharp also played piano as well as cello. Sharp's love for theatre at school inspired her to enroll at The Boston Conservatory, where she received the opportunity to receive a scholarship. Cum Laude, where she received a B.F.A. Sharp decided to go into theatre after graduating Cum Laude with the B.F.A. Sharp was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. She made her debut Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Sharp also played 8 roles in the comedy interactive Eat the Runt. Other stage performances include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp, who has worked in both on the screen and on stage is involved in a variety of original projects. Sharp continues to perform and is currently working on an album of full length. Sharp, who is often either in front of or behind the camera as well as in the studio to record music, enjoys staying fit. Sharp studies Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, walk and go on a long trips on the road. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
