Born on October 18, 1984 American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired won four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Hers is the only female skier to hold the highest score of her. She's the most skilled skier in history and the most popular throughout The United States. Caroline Vonn, also known as Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who plays for the US Ski Team. The American has won the overall World Cup competition four times. She has a long and distinguished background within American athletics. She is the only six women to have won in each event on the World Cup circuit. The American has won 82 World Cup titles in all. The best skiers of the world, including the most experienced American ski racers, made their announcements of retirement following the World Championship in Sweden. Four times World Cup overall champion decided to step down following an array of health issues. Social media was used to make her announcement of retirement. The World Championships for Downhill and SG Re Sweden will mark my final races in Re Sweden.
